Environmental & Energy Economics · Industrial Organization
I am Professor of Economics at the University of Oldenburg, where I hold the Chair of Applied Microeconomics. My work sits at the intersection of Industrial Organization and Environmental & Energy Economics.
I am particularly interested in how economic agents respond to regulation, taxation, and ownership structure in markets in which decisions have a strong environmental- and energy-related dimension. These are questions with direct implications for market regulation and policy design.
I am co-organizer of the Economics of Low-Carbon Markets (LCM) Workshop, running since 2013.
